Terms and conditions for exhibitions – The Ballery, Berlin
- General
These contractual conditions are part of the rental agreement. The clients confirm that they know and accept the content of these conditions.
- Rental Prices
All prices are in Euro and exclusive of VAT. 1 week EUR 1800.00 2 weeks EUR 2500.00
Longer times by arrangement.
If you host the exhibition yourself, no commission will be charged.
Ballery director Simon Williams can be present at your opening and can operate a bar service for your guests.
The rental price includes the following services
Publication on The Ballery website with text and images
Publication on The Ballery social media such as Instagram, Facebook.
- Payment
When signing the rental contract, a deposit of 25% of the amount is due. The remaining amount must be paid 3 months before the start of the exhibition. This can be made via bank transfer.
- Cancellation Policy
Should a booked exhibition be canceled or postponed for various reasons the exhibitor will incur the following costs: –
The deposit remains 100% with the gallery due to the organization
4-6 months before the exhibition: 50% of the total amount
3-1 months before the exhibition: 100% of the total amount
- Insurance
The tenant is responsible for insuring the exhibited objects and pictures. The gallery declines all liability.
- Check in/Check out
Tuesday is changeover day. In the morning the gallery is cleaned between 7.30h-10.00h. By then the gallery should have been cleared. Ideally, you clear out on a Monday evening by 7pm. From 10:00 – 12:00 on the Tuesday, the next tenant can move in.
- Maintenance
The final cleaning is at the expense of the gallery. Please hand in the gallery in a clean condition.
